Another day, another quick sketch. Maybe over the weekend, I will have time to spend more than 15 minutes on a sketch. In any case, it feels good just to have a paintbrush in my hand.
Left, today's inspiration, from the same catalog as yesterday. (Not much blooming here right now.)
And the result on the right. If the year keeps going as it is starting, I will be getting a lot of practice with quick sketches.
glad to hear someone had a resolution that lasted for less time than mine!!! Love the new resolution and can't wait to see your work during the year... xx
ReplyDeleteGreat new resolution! :) But you should have put your drawing on top, it looks so pretty! HPPF!

ReplyDeleteNicely done! A lot of quick sketches here and there = a lot of practice, and that's a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI do not make resolutions, but I do choose a WORD all year long. I've been doing that for years, this year it's ENCOURAGE. The very first word I ever choose was BELIEVE.
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are so very beautiful. I would love to have them around the yard. Blessings, Janet PPF
